Mack Muckan - Founder
Mack is a proud Kabi Kabi, Birri Gubba, Yuru and South Sea Islander man raised in South East Queensland and founder of Undumbi Culture. Mack and his family reside and work on his Kabi Kabi homeland.
Mack is dedicated to teaching about his culture through art, song lines, dance and story time. Mack has a diverse professional background spanning across government, corporate, transport, infrastructure and youth services. Mack’s purpose and goal for Undumbi Culture is to support and guide individuals and organisations to build a cultural strong and inclusive community.
Isobel Muckan - Future CEO/Leader
Isobel is a proud Kabi Kabi, Birri Gubba, South Sea Islander and Māori woman. Isobel is a leader of the future, dance lover and song enthusiast. Isobel is also named ‘Maroochy’ which originates from a Kabi Kabi storyline that is about a love story located in the Sunshine Coast Region. Isobel loves to perform, sing and dance at local events and participate in many different sports.
Phil Dennis - Facilitator
Phil is a proud Birri Gubba, Yuru and South Sea Islander Man raised in North Queensland. Phil and his family reside and work on Kabi Kabi Country.
Phil is very passionate about community development in particular youth development, education and well being. Phil has been actively involved in grass roots sporting associations for over 20 years, including years of volunteering and mentoring and continuously giving back to the community in rugby league.
Marie Dennis - Facilitator
Marie is a proud Birri Gubba, Yuru and South Sea Islander woman raised in North Queensland. Marie has over 20 years experience in Community Services and is passionate about supporting people through guidance, instilling courage and providing access to essential tools on their journeys toward self-empowerment, self-determination and holistic wellbeing.
Marie’s extensive experience involve Federal Government, Not for Profit Organisations, Community Servicing & Engagement, Youth Work, Children in Out of Home Care, Domestic and Family Violence, Case Co-ordination & management, Program Development & management, Education, Training and Development, Health, Wellbeing and Therapeutic care. Marie’s vision is to help individuals and communities to become the proud, strong and unique spirits created through connection, healing, education and empowerment.
Khan Choppy - Facilitator
Khan is a proud Aboriginal and South Sea Islander man who is a passionate professional dedicated to delivering impactful programs that drive positive change for young people. With a fervent commitment to youth development, he thrives on designing and implementing initiatives that foster education, employment, emotional well-being and leadership skills.
His proven track record in program design and execution reflects his deep-seated belief in the transformative power of tailored interventions. He brings a dynamic approach to addressing the unique challenges faced by today's youth, leveraging his skills in collaboration and innovation to create lasting impact. Eager to contribute to the betterment of young lives, he is driven by the belief that empowering individuals with the right tools and opportunities can pave the way for a brighter future, not only for them but for the communities they serve.
